Yes, Expert Advisors are permitted only if the EA add-on has been selected at the time of purchasing the challenge. Without this add-on, the use of any automated trading software is not allowed.
Even with the EA add-on enabled, the following strategies remain strictly prohibited:
· Latency arbitrage
· HFT / tick scalping
· Server spamming / excessive order flooding
· Martingale, anti-martingale, and price averaging systems — any EA logic that opens three or more positions in the same direction on the same asset is considered a violation
Enforcement:
· First violation (Soft Breach): The offending positions may be closed by our risk team, and any profits generated from those trades will not count towards the evaluation or performance rewards.
· Second violation (Hard Breach): The account is permanently terminated. The trader will need to purchase a new challenge to continue.
